New Literacy Project

Our club will soon be working on a new Literacy project - building and installing Little Free Libraries in Sanford. Shawn Babine, Literacy Committee chair, has gained the support and approval of several members of the Goodall Library Board to work with the club on bringing this wonderful project to our community. We already have requests for LFLs at several locations throughout the city. Carpenter extraordinaire, Neal Meltzer has offered to construct one and there are many other club members eager to design, paint and decorate these charming lending libraries. Before we know it, they will be sprouting up all over the place.
